Safe from crashes
The Soundsuit Player is equipped with a SD card, where a fallback playlist is stored. If your internet drops (for seconds or hours), the Soundsuit player switches automatically to the off-line mode, and keeps playing.

Before ordering, your IT team should review these requirements to ensure a smooth installation.
Wired setup
The Soundsuit HW-Player requires an Ethernet cable to be connected to the Internet.
Bandwidth
The HW-Player needs a very minimum of 50 Mbps, but a 100 Mbps connection is recommended.
Dedicated connection
The HW-Player requires a dedicated internet connection (i.e. it cannot work with an internet connection that is shared with your customers).
Prioritization of device
The HW-Player requires to be set a preferred device in the Quality of Service (QoS) of your router to get higher priority when using the bandwidth.
Firewall requirements.
Our Soundsuit Players are delivered fully configured as Plug&Play solutions and are therefore ready for use immediately after connection to the audio system and the Internet. Depending on the internal infrastructure, you may only have to set up your firewall accordingly. Connections via port 80 must be allowed.

Raw TCP — Network default settings must allow raw TCP over port 80.

Ordering details.
Valid subscription
Only customers who have a valid Soundsuit subscription are able to order a HW-Player.
Dedicated device
The Soundsuit Player is a commercial grade device dedicated exclusively to the Soundsuit music service.
Shipping frequency
New batches of HW-Players are shipped weekly.
Delivery time
Depending on the location, it takes UPS between 1 and 4 days to deliver the HW-Player.
