Sonos wireless speakers

Is Soundsuit compatible with Sonos?

Yes, Soundsuit is fully compatible with Sonos. Soundsuit is actually a certified partner of by Sonos, and can be connected - as a "Music Service" - to all Sonos speakers: Play:1, Play:5, Play One, etc.

How do i add Soundsuit music service to Sonos?

To add Soundsuit to your Sonos system, please follow the small steps given by Sonos:
How to add a music service to Sonos >
Hinzufügen eines Musikdienstes zu Sonos >

How do I control the music that Soundsuit plays on Sonos?

Sonos is broadcasting Soundsuit music based on the settings that you selected on the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play): business type, customer age, decor/atmosphere, etc.

If you are changing your settings on the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play), then Sonos will play Soundsuit according to these updated settings with a short delay of three songs in the playlist. This means that, after you saved your new settings on the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play), it will take to Sonos three songs to reflect the new music direction you defined. from the 4th song on, your music direction will be the one you just saved on the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play).

Important remark: the Soundsuit music played via the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play) and the Soundsuit music broadcasted one the Sonos speakers may differ. This is not a mistake or a technical issue. both music streams do actually match the central settings you defined on the Soundsuit web app (i.e. soundsuit.fm/play). However the titles may not play in the exact same sequential order on both platforms (Soundsuit.fm vs Sonos), due to technical constraints.

Problem to add/connect Soundsuit (or any music service) to your Sonos?

Please try first unplugging from power all of your Sonos devices. Then reboot your Internet router. Then please go back and plug in one of your Sonos devices, and wait a minute or two to finish booting up before moving on to the next speaker to plug it in.

That might take care of your issue, but if not, please submit a system diagnostic to Sonos within 10 minutes of experiencing the lost connection issue, and directly call in to Sonos to get their assistance.

Problem with Soundsuit songs not overlapping/mixing on Sonos?

You may have not yet activated the "crossfade" function for your Sonos system.

Crossfade creates a smooth transition between songs by fading out the last few seconds of the current song, and fading in the next song in the Queue. The icon will be illuminated when crossfade is enabled.

Using the Sonos app for iOS or Android:

On the Now Playing screen, tap the "3 dots" button to access more options.
Tap the icon next to Crossfade.

Using the Sonos app for Mac or PC:

At the top of the Sonos app, click the crossfade icon.

For more details, please refer to the following Sonos page:

Problem on Sonos with music playback stopping or skipping?

On Sonos, music skipping or music stopping behaviour could happen.

Please refer to Sonos' helpcenter articles such as:
https://support.sonos.com/s/article/305?language=en_US

To solve the problem, Sonos recommends the following:

A. Check your Internet connection speed
If your Internet connection slows significantly, the speed at which Sonos is able to stream from an online music service may be reduced, resulting in audio skipping or other interruptions. Try loading webpages and videos, preferably from a wired computer or laptop that is connected to the same network as Sonos, to make sure your Internet connection is working properly. If you notice unusually slow Internet speeds, please contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance.

B. Take steps to reduce wireless interference
Your Sonos products may be having difficulty communicating wirelessly with one another or your router, which can oftentimes be alleviated by changing the wireless channel your Sonos system is operating on. Wireless environments have the potential to become congested with many devices using the same air space, and changing the wireless channel can clear up these issues. Read more about how to change the wireless channel and other steps for reducing wireless interference in our article: Changing the wireless channel.

C. Contact Sonos for further help
If you continue to experience issues after following the above steps, refer to the Sonos' Contact Customer Care
