Brand consistency across markets
From New York to Madrid, the Five Iron Golf experience has to feel unmistakably the same — even as the local audience, language, and music taste shift.

“This is not background music. This is experience design.”
Built for Europe, by Europe
The challenge
Five Iron Golf isn't just opening venues in Europe. It's exporting a new category — golf as entertainment, where sport meets hospitality and social life. Replicating US success across Spain, Portugal, the UK, France and beyond means solving five problems at once.
From New York to Madrid, the Five Iron Golf experience has to feel unmistakably the same — even as the local audience, language, and music taste shift.
Mornings are for focused practice and lessons. Afternoons drift into corporate sessions and after-work play. Evenings turn into vibrant social nights. Weekends host private parties and tournaments.
Players want to focus on their swing. Groups want a buzzing bar atmosphere. Both happen at the same time, often in adjacent zones — simulator bays, lounge, bar, private rooms.
Five Iron Golf's real competitors aren't driving ranges. They're bars, leisure concepts, experiential venues. Atmosphere is the moat.
Adding a 10th, 20th, 30th venue can't mean diluting the experience. The audio identity has to be reproducible from HQ — not reinvented by each general manager every morning.
“This is not background music. This is experience design.”
In a venue where atmosphere is the product, music isn't background. It's the layer that turns a simulator bay into a night out — and that lets a Madrid opening feel like the same brand customers loved in Brooklyn.
Five Iron Golf Iberia chose Soundsuit because the platform is built in Europe, licensed across European PROs (SGAE, SACEM, GEMA, PRS-PPL, SUISA), and integrates with the European pro-AV stack their venues already use — Ecler digital matrices included.
What Soundsuit unlocks for Five Iron Golf
01
Morning → focused. Afternoon → social. Evening → vibrant. Events → high energy. One venue, multiple atmospheres — automatically scheduled, no staff intervention needed.
02
Simulator bays, bar, lounge, private rooms — each zone gets its own energy layer. Players focus, groups socialise, both happen in parallel without one bleeding into the other.
03
Valencia. Madrid. The Iberia rollout. Next, the UK and France. Same brand DNA, locally tuned vibe — Spanish venues feel Spanish, French venues feel French, all under one audio identity managed centrally from HQ.
04
Corporate events, team-building, private parties, tournaments — instant atmosphere switching from preset templates. The room shifts energy in seconds, not in playlist edits.
05
Music influences bar revenue, dwell time, group engagement, and repeat visits. The right sound at the right moment turns a session into a story — and a story into a return booking.

How it's deployed at Five Iron Golf
Soundsuit's HW-Player integrates directly with Five Iron Golf's existing professional AV stack. The Ecler MIMO88SG digital audio matrix — an 8-input / 8-output programmable matrix used in serious hospitality and retail installations — distributes Soundsuit streams to each zone independently. No AV replacement. No new speaker runs.

Frequently asked questions
Indoor golf and entertainment venues compete on experience, not on the game itself. The right music influences how long guests stay, how much they spend at the bar, how engaged groups are with each other, and whether they come back. For multi-daypart venues like Five Iron Golf — where the same space hosts focused practice in the morning and party energy at night — music is one of the only levers that adjusts the atmosphere automatically, without staff intervention.
Each zone — simulator bays, bar, lounge, private rooms — runs as its own independent audio stream, controlled centrally. You can play focused, low-energy music in the bays while the bar runs a vibrant playlist, or push event-mode across all zones for a private booking. Switching is instant and managed from the HQ console.
Yes. Soundsuit's daypart scheduling lets you pre-programme transitions — morning focused, afternoon social, evening vibrant, weekend high-energy — that fire automatically based on the venue's calendar. Staff don't need to touch the music at all.
The HQ console manages every venue from one place. You define the brand sound centrally, then allow each location controlled flexibility within the brand's audio identity. Curated stations and AI stations adapt to local taste without breaking the global feel. From New York to Madrid, the venue feels unmistakably the same.
Yes. In the US and Canada, PRO fees (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, SOCAN) are fully included in the subscription. In the UK and EU, Soundsuit covers reproduction rights under proper commercial licenses (PRS-PPL in the UK, GEMA in Germany, SACEM in France, SGAE in Spain, etc.). You register separately with your local PRO for the public performance fee — standard for all professional music services in Europe.
Yes. Soundsuit is designed to integrate with the professional AV stack venues already specify, with no rip-and-replace. At Five Iron Golf Iberia, the Soundsuit HW-Player streams directly into the existing Ecler MIMO88SG digital audio matrix that distributes audio across Reception, Restaurant, Lounge, Simulator areas, and future zones. Soundsuit also supports native Sonos integration (certified partner) and connects via streaming URL to most network audio players.
Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer are not legally permitted for business or public use — in stores, offices, hotels, gyms, or airports.
Soundsuit is licensed for commercial use in 50+ countries. We pay artists up to 5× more per subscription than personal streaming services.
